I look forward to new music by Sam & Co. as always, with bated breath and happy anticipation. Thanks for your generous spirit!

So excited “Was It All In My Head” will finally be available . . . and for free! Thank you very much. I guess good things do come to those who wait!

Definitely months of recording and layering to make songs “extra” special is appreciated, but there is so much beauty in a simple, “fresh” Sam Phillips song. I have never heard music that moves me so much. I think the next webstore t-shirts should read “Sam Phillips’ sad songs make me happy!”.

If you’ve left Nonesuch, I’m glad there will still be opportunities to buy new music. Hoping for many more new songs to come (but no pressure!) and to hearing these songs live at Largo in the near future. Sam Phillips’ music has inspired me to “get through” the last 20 years. Hoping to have your help through the next 20!

as a musician and a long time fan i have to say this is an utterly divine cut-
fresh as a daisy- and jay has a way of conveying the feel of your (casualty)
inspired lyric. I really like the subtle dark wash which i assume is part of the kit
(maybe spring rattle of the bass drum??) which adds so much to the mood.

oh no, I missed this! I just joined the mailing list… Could you please make the mp3 available again? :)
