I may have to fly out there from N.C. I’ve only seen Sam once and that was at the Ryman Auditorium (the original Grand Ole Opry) a couple of years ago. “You go, Sam!”

I agree with Jill and her “glee”! I can’t wait for this show – saw the Largo show last summer with TSQ and it was AMAZING! Yay!

Just wanted to let everyone know that my boyfriend and I were able to get tickets to Sam’s show TODAY – according to the venue, there are no assigned seats and although we are not subscribers to the venue, we were still able to get tickets today. The cost was $22 per ticket. I assume we were given the correct information by the person on the phone, but the venue’s website is a bit confusing.

Yup! I just ordered by phone. Maybe the non-announcement is intentional, as it’s a small venue.

I called today, the 31st, and they said tickets will go on sale around Aug. 8 (phone and online). They wouldn’t sell me any now. I don’t think they really know what they are doing. I just hope it doesn’t sell out before I can talk them into selling me a couple of tickets!

Just FYI to Cheryl (if you are checking this site) and anyone else trying to get tickets – as I mentioned in my earlier post, I did get two tickets to Sam’s show on July 28. I called today after reading Cheryl’s post to make sure there wasn’t a problem, and was told that tickets ARE on sale for Sam’s show – there was an intern working the phones last week who didn’t know the policy and gave out the wrong info (it’s a new venue, so there is a bit of confusion). They are selling regular season tickets on August 8, but you can get Sam tickets now. So, you need to call Levana Weiche at 310-434-3200 and she will take ticket orders. She gave me permission to give out her name and number. Hope this clears things up.

I think I remember you saying that you are happy on tour but when it’s over you feel sad. I can tell you are buzzing with energy while performing. May the unexpected happen in positive waves ..of rock percolating
