Sam’s song “Reflecting Light” is featured in the hit film “Crazy Heart”. The song originally appeared on Sam’s 2004 “A Boot and a Shoe” album, but the version in the movie and on the soundtrack was remixed especially for “Crazy Heart”.

New EP – Magic For Everybody – Available Now!

“Magic For Everybody”, Sam’s 3rd EP through her Long Play web project, is now available exclusively through the Long Play website. Comprised of four brand new songs (the title track, “Trouble”, “Lever Pulled Down”, “Always Merry and Bright”) and a re-working of the song “Tell Her What She Wants To Know”, which appeared on the Gilmore Girls soundtrack album in 2002, the EP features performances by drummer Jay Bellerose, bassist Jennifer Condos, guitarists Greg Leisz and Eric Gorfain.

Entitled “Magic For Everybody”, the EP is anchored by drummer Jay Bellerose and bassist Jennifer Condos who recorded live takes in the studio with Sam.
