Nickel Creek's new album A Dotted Line was released on April 1, 2014 and features the album-closer "Where Is Love Now", written by Sam 20 years ago but never recorded until the Long Play project in 2010. Nickel Creek's Sara Watklins has sung the song in concert for several years after hearing a bootleg live recording of Sam singing it at a show at Largo in Los Angeles around 2003.
