Sam has released a 10-song Christmas album Cold Dark Nights on November 30, 2019.  As she wrote to her mailing list, "One of the EP’s I recorded for my Long Play project (2009-2010) was a Christmas collection entitled Cold Dark Night. This year, I've remixed, remastered and added to some of those songs, and recorded 4 brand new tracks, re-naming the album Cold Dark Nights".

In addition to the nine original songs, Sam has recorded a cover of "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)".
